Cornwall's only commercial airport is at
Newquay on the north coast,
approximately 35 miles distant. It is served by
Air Southwest from London
Gatwick, and Ryanair from London
Stansted.
-
An
alternative is Bristol
airport, which although approximately 3 hours away by road, does
provide links to much of Europe and New York.

By
road:
-
Under
most circumstances Cornwall is accessed via M5 at Exeter, from where the
choice of A30 or A38 via Plymouth is available. Whatever your
choice, the roads converge near Bodmin. Follow
the A30 to Carland Cross roundabout (Shell station on left and wind farm
on right), and take the second exit, A3076 to Truro. Follow this
all the way to the city. From there, take the A39 to Falmouth.
Remain on the A39 past Asda on the left, along the 3 lane carriageway to
the next (Hillhead) roundabout. Now follow the map below.

The final stage of the
journey (inset) begins by turning left into Tregoniggie Industrial
Estate, (signed), approximately 300 metres after Falmouth City Football
ground, and just after the lay-by with two red post boxes. Follow the
road round to the right, past Express Tyres, and turn right immediately
after Ward Vauxhall garage. Calidus Engineering is the first unit on the
left.
By
rail:
-
There
are rail links to Cornwall from Scotland and England's International
airports, and they all pass through Plymouth. Travel to Falmouth can be
continued by rail, but car rental at either Plymouth or Truro may be a
preferred option.
