Badger Explorer ASA (Norway) acquire 50% of Calidus Engineering Ltd

On December 7 2007, the deal was closed in which Badger Explorer (BXPL) acquired 50% of the shareholding in Calidus Engineering Ltd (CalEng) from its founder and sole shareholder Nigel Halladay.  In so doing, BXPL have secured access to CalEng technologies to support their revolutionary wireline drilling project, and have ensured a strengthened future on which to further develop the existing business of CalEng.

On the 19th November 2007, Calidus Engineering Ltd acquired the business and assets of one of its sub-contractors, on the retirement of the owner.  The acquisition presented an opportunity to substantially expand our manufacturing business, into which we will be bringing all the standards and discipline associated with our oil and gas activities and our ISO 9001-2000 registration.
