The Company
Calidus Engineering Ltd is a growing company specialising in the design, R&D and production of custom systems for the downhole oil & gas and geothermal industries through in-house design, development and our own manufacturing facilities. The R&D side of the company is a diverse mix of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, software and manufacturing engineers who work closely together to develop complex devices and systems. The manufacturing includes a comprehensive machine shop and inspection area, electronics assembly and test and mechanics development laboratories.
The company is now based in Redruth, Cornwall, in a custom designed and built 17,500 sq ft facility that offers extensive office, laboratory, workshop (including a 130m deep borehole inside the building) and manufacturing space.
