Calidus Engineering Ltd is a growing company specialising in the design, R&D and production of custom systems for the downhole oil & gas and geothermal industries through in-house design, development and our own manufacturing facilities. Due to recent commercial successes, strengthening of the ownership and an increased demand for our services we need to expand our engineering team. The Role

We are seeking engineers who are capable of original and independent thinking to undertake tasks ranging from the upgrade of existing equipment through new ideas and designs to the creation of bespoke systems that address the unique requirements of our clients. As part of a small team, you will work with the clients taking projects from initial conception to delivered completion in either a supporting or lead role depending on experience. This gives you, the designer, the satisfaction of seeing your ideas go from conceptual notes to completed systems, hands on all the way. Our co-owner and major client is developing a revolutionary “fly-by-wire” exploration drilling system to which we are making a substantial technical R&D and manufacturing contribution (see bxpl.com). This is an opportunity to take a leading role in a true, high profile, “State of the art” development project for which only the best will do – are you up to the challenge?
